What is Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD)?
Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD) is a ground breaking and award winning technique, developed through extensive clinical practice by Sally Kay. This innovative therapeutic approach has attracted national and international awards, and widespread recognition. RLD is a simple and effective method of reflexology and a potentially sustainable solution for the management of lymphoedema and the positive ripple effect it has on quality of life. It may be used to help reduce lymphoedema after treatment for breast cancer. RLD may also be useful for clients with other (non-cancer related) more common conditions.
The aim is to stimulate the function of the lymphatic system and drain excess lymph from the damaged area. This is done using a problem specific reflexology technique, for lymphatic drainage via the feet or hands.
